The Mission of the Central Business District Association of Virginia Beach (CBDA) is to promote the economic development of the Central Business District (CBD) and to coordinate its orderly evolution into Virginia Beach's primary urban center for business, commerce, professional, financial and cultural activities. Its goals are to:

1. actively promote the Central Business District as a viable and exciting place to live, work, shop and visit;
2. support the City of Virginia Beach in the improvement of transportation systems in the area;
3. serve as a liaison between the business community and the CBD and local, state and federal governments; and
4. promote the Central Business District as the business, financial and cultural center of Virginia Beach.

Further, it is our goal to harness the talents and energies within Virginia's largest city to create a truly attractive and vital urban city center.
