Divaris Completes Five Leases for New and Renewed Space in Hampton Roads
Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced five leases totaling 30,828 square feet of retail space throughout the Hampton Roads metropolitan region. Negotiations were handled through the Virginia Beach office of DRE.
Mythics renewed its lease for 11,359 square feet of space in the Mill Dam Crossing Shopping Center located 1423 North Great Neck Road in Virginia Beach. Mythics offers procurement and Oracle systems integration expertise across the full range of Oracle cloud, software, hardware, storage and engineered systems. DRE’s Eric Bucklew represented the landlord, RT Virginia Holdings in the lease negotiations.
rue21 leased 7,013 square feet of retail space at Janaf Shopping Center located at 5900 East Virginia Beach Boulevard in Norfolk, Va. Headquartered just north of Pittsburgh, PA, rue21 has over 1,100 stores in 48 states in shopping malls, outlets and strip centers. By working directly with the market, it can react instantly to produce new trends and must-have styles that don’t exist anywhere else. The lease was handled by DRE’s Mary McGovern and Sezin Cortinas on behalf of the tenant with the landlord, Janaf Shopping Center, LLC. Other tenants in Janaf include: BJ’s, T.J. Maxx, The Sports Authority, Petco, OfficeMax and Pier1.
Laser Skin and Vein Center of Virginia renewed its lease 5,971 square feet of retail space at the Divaris-leased and –managed Town Center of Virginia Beach, located at 125 Market Street. David H. McDaniel, MD is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He serves as Director of the Institute of Anti-Aging Research as well as the Laser & Cosmetic Center and has been involved in the testing and also the development of several new antioxidant skin care products as well as research related to extending lifespan and healthy longevity. The lease was handled on behalf of the landlord, Town Center Associates 7, LLC, by Gerald Divaris, Sezin Cortinas and Erica Rorrer of Divaris Real Estate.
Behl Orthodontics leased 5,285 square feet of retail space in the Town Center of Virginia Beach, next door to Yard House on Independence Boulevard. Behl Orthodontics proudly provides a state-of-the-art facility for the highest quality orthodontic care available from its 12 convenient locations throughout all cities in the Hampton Roads region. Other retail tenants in The Town Center include: West Elm, Anthropologie, Free People, lululemon athletica, PaperSource, Brooks Brothers, Loft, bevello, Origins and Monkees. The lease was handled on behalf of the landlord, Divaris Corner, LLC by Mary McGovern, Gerald Divaris, Sezin Cortinas and Erica Rorrer of Divaris Real Estate.
Supercuts renewed its lease for 1,200 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Williamsburg Marketcenter located at 6610 East Mooretown Road in Williamsburg, Va. Supercuts is a hair salon franchise with over 2,000 locations across the United States. The company was founded in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1975. Other tenants in Williamsburg Marketcenter include: Ross Dress for Less, Dollar Tree, Verizon Wireless, Tropical Smoothie and Quiznos. Bucklew and Missy Martinovich of the Virginia Peninsula office of Divaris Real Estate, handled the lease on behalf of the landlord, American General Life Insurance Company.
