Divaris Real Estate Leases 25,000 Sq. Ft. of Office Space in Hampton Roads’ Southside
Michael B. Divaris, president of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of ten leases totaling approximately 25,000 square feet of office space across the Southside of Hampton Roads, Virginia. Negotiations were handled through the Virginia Beach office of DRE.
Virginia Business Systems leased 8,230 square feet of office space at Battlefield Lakes Tech Center III located at 521 Byron Street in Chesapeake, Va. VBS is a family-owned, full-service systems integrator in document workflow and output, device and network administration and document management. The lease negotiations with the landlord, 34th Street, LLC, were handled by Krista Costa and Katherine Olson of DRE’s Virginia Beach office.
SJS Executives, LLC leased 3,060 square feet of office space in Reflections I located at 2809 South Lynnhaven Road in Virginia Beach. A contractor, recruiter and employment agency, SJS Executives, LLC, specializes in skilled trades and is dedicated to resolving business, staff, and labor needs for major business and contract objectives. Lease negotiations with the landlord, Joe Counts, were handled by DRE’s Olson and Costa.
Tradesmen International signed a lease for 2,367 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Southport Trade Center at 349 Southport Circle in Virginia Beach. Tradesmen International, founded in 1992, is recognized nationally as a leading source for reliable, skilled craftsmen and professional labor-oriented services. Vivian Turok and Elizabeth Greer represented the landlord, Southport Elizabeth Investors, Inc., in the lease negotiations.
Turner Construction Company renewed its lease for 2,200 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Two Columbus Center at 4500 Main Street in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. The general contracting company is joined by the Arts Institute; Kimley Horn; Vanasse, Hangen Brustlin, Inc.; and BCF in Two Columbus Center. The landlord, Columbus Tower II, LLC, was represented by DRE’s Michael Divaris, Turok and Costa.
Tidewater Periodontics leased 1,904 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased 1444 Kempsville Road in Virginia Beach. The periodontics practice joins other tenants in the property including The Therapy Network, Dr. Cherin, Dr. Finnerty and State Farm Insurance. Costa and Olson represented the landlord, Preferred Medical Partners, LLC.
Zenetex renewed its lease for 1,805 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and –managed One Columbus Center in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. For over a decade, Zenetex has provided IT, engineering, integrated logistics, foreign military sales, program management, training systems, ITIL® training, and contractor field services solutions for federal agencies and commercial organizations. Costa, Divaris and Turok represented the landlord, Columbus Tower, LLC.
Shaffer Enterprises leased 1,610 square feet of office space in the Lynnhaven Commons Office Complex at 582 Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach. The residential realty company will occupy space on the third floor of the four-story, Divaris-leased brick building in the bustling Lynnhaven corridor. DRE’s Elizabeth Paasch and Elizabeth Greer handled the lease negotiations on behalf of the landlord, Lynnhaven Commons, LLC. The tenant was represented by Costa and Olson.
J.L. Marshall & Associates leased 1,474 square feet of office space at 4224 Holland Road in Virginia Beach. JLMA's experience spans all Service and Joint environments from conflict prevention activities to major combat operations. Its core competencies include training and education, concepts and capability development, strategic planning, and program/project management. Costa and Olson handled the negotiations with the landlord, Clark Whitehill Co., on behalf of the tenant.
R&S Podiatry leased 1,217 square feet of office space in Haygood Medical Building at 1020 Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach. R&S Podiatry is a private practice, focused on providing the best foot care possible, specializing in diabetic and sports medicine. DRE’s Greer represented the tenant in the negotiations with the landlord, Dr. Chakrabortty.
Broadbay Group leased 1,199 square feet of office space in Block 3 of the Town Center of Virginia Beach, located at 249 Central Park Avenue. BBG’s special operations and military aviation experts focus on customer service, providing tailored and scalable training and technology solutions to meet Individual, Unit, and Group requirements. Costa, Divaris and Turok represented the landlord, Greenbrier Technology Center II Associates, LLC. The Town Center of Virginia Beach is leased by Divaris Real Estate and managed by Divaris Property Management Corp.
