Symphonicity, the City of Virginia Beach’s own symphony orchestra, presents its second subscription concert of its 35th season, “Irina Muresanu, Violinist” on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 3:00pm at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, 201 Market Street, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.

Featuring:  Violinist Irina Muresanu, who will perform the Tschaikovsky Violin Concerto with Symphonicity. Maestro David Kunkel will also lead the orchestra in Symphony No. 3 (Eroica) of Beethoven, and will open the concert with the “Roman Carnival Overture” of Berlioz.

Additional performance: Ms. Muresanu will join pianist Oksana Lutsyshyn in “Rorem, Ravel, and Rags”, a violin and piano recital on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 7:30 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach at 300 36th Street. About Symphonicity: Formerly known as the Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra, Symphonicity provides a challenging performance experience for area musicians, presents low cost, quality concerts to the Hampton Roads community, and strives to educate young musicians.
