Ranks No. 4234 on the 2017 Inc. 5000 with Three-Year Sales Growth of 62%

This is the eighth-consecutive year that Marathon has made the list, a feat that less than 1% of applicants have achieved. Inc. Magazine’s list is an annual compilation of the most entrepreneurial and fastest growing, privately held U.S. companies.

Marathon has ranked on the Inc. 500/5000 every single year of eligibility, debuting on the 2010 Inc. 500 list with a ranking of 466. This year, Marathon placed 4,234th with a growth rate of 62% over the past three years. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2016.

Marathon Consulting Announces Team Additions – 2017 Q1 & Q2

Marathon Consulting, LLC, a leading Information Technology Consulting and Digital Marketing firm, announced a recent expansion resulting in the addition of seven (7) team members. Each of the new team members are assigned to clients throughout Hampton Roads and Richmond, Virginia.

Clint Vallandingham - Clint joined Marathon in January 2017 as a Senior Information Technology Consultant. He brings over 15 years of expertise in database development, software development, database administration and business analysis. Clint is currently assigned to multiple Marathon database centric projects to leverage his talented skill set.

Jay Vanzara - Jay joined Marathon in April 2017 as an Information Technology Consultant. He brings over 6 years of experience as a Java Developer and University Computer and Information Science Instructor. Jay is currently assigned to a national managed healthcare organization based Richmond, Virginia.

Lindsey Mashburn - Lindsey joined Marathon in April 2017 as a Senior Technical Recruiter and Business Development Professional. She brings over 7 years of experience combining technical recruiting for talented Application and Infrastructure resources while working closely with client companies to strengthen and grow the business relationship. Lindsey is currently assigned to the Marathon corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Meghan Tolbert - Megs joined Marathon in May 2017 as a Business Technology Consultant. She is a PMP and Certified Scrum Master leveraging over 4 years of IT Project experience. Megs is currently assigned to a national managed healthcare organization, in Norfolk, Virginia.

Brian Knox - Brian joined Marathon in June 2017 as an Information Technology Consultant. He combines and impressive knowledge of Business Analytics and Information Systems Analysis with a technical development background to round out his analysis tool kit. Brian is currently assigned to a regional Municipality in the Hampton Roads area.
