CBDA Board Member Kathy Owens Appointed to HRC Engage

CBDA President Chris Stone is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy Owens, President, Beach Development Group to “HRC ENGAGE” of the Va. Beach Housing Resource Center.

Kathy serves on the CBDA’s Executive Board, is a retired U.S. Naval Aviator and United Airlines Pilot. Kathy formed and is now President of Beach Development Group, a small, woman owned VaSwam Certified business focusing on the development of unique properties in strategic locations.

“We are very fortunate to have Kathy as a member of our Executive Board and are pleased she has agreed to serve as CBDA’s liaison to Virginia Beach’s Housing Resource Center’s HRC ENGAGE Board" said President Stone. “CBDA supports the mission and vision of the city’s new center and looks forward to working with their leadership team to educate, involve, inform and provide feedback about the center”.

Divaris Real Estate Announces $16 Million and 115,000 Square Feet in Completed Transactions for August 2017

****Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of $16,054,834 in transactions totaling 115,884 square feet of commercial property in the Hampton Roads, Washington DC, Richmond, Roanoke and Charlotte markets in August 2017.

Sales Transactions****

• PNC Bank sold two buildings in Annapolis, Maryland, brokered by DRE’s Joe Farina. An 8,140-square-foot property at 18 Church Circle was purchased by Douglas Development Corp for $2.3 million; and a 1,146-square-foot property at 613 Taylor Avenue sold for $725,000 to private investors that was also brokered by DRE’s Amit Grover.

• PetSmart leased 21,629 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Laurel Glen Shopping Center at 45315 Alton Lane in California, Md. Susan McGee represented the landlord.

• AtCoastal leased 7,280 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Lynnhaven Commons at 582 Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach, Va. DRE’s Elizabeth Paasch and Elizabeth Napolitano represented the landlord.
